This section explores the fundamental relationship between light and subject. I analyze how the direction and quality of a light source fundamentally alter the mood, contrast, shadow patterns, reflections, and perceived texture within a photographic frame.

Reflection Study

Experimenting with controlled reflections in an indoor environment. Using a black notebook, white paper, water drops, and black objects, I explore how light behavior shifts across surfaces. Camera positioned at approximately 45° above the still-life composition to capture the interplay of specular highlights and textured shadows.
